    Its really funny that it is suposed to be hot in Florida. Instead it is FREEZING at nighttime, and sometimes in the day!!!!

    What’s up Mr.Wolfe!!!

    My science teacher is doing a water rocket thing Monday.
    There is no way I will be attending. We took a test today on satellites and space probes. It was a breeze. So, what are you and core 4 studying? I am going to try and start downloading your lessons. Tell core 4 I said hi. I have an idea. How bout you come to Florida and switch teachers. You and your wife can have a nice vacation. PLEASE!!!!!! LOL.

    Hey Mr.Wolfe!!!!!!

    Wednesday my science class launched water rockets. I had to attend it. When we created them they were way differnt than what we did before. But my science classes went higher…. way higher!!! Our EOG is different from NC’s. Our’s is called the FCAT. It begins next Tuesday and Wednesday. Yesterday I had friends come from NC to stay for the weekend. I am going to go to carnivals and lots of stuff,etc. My weekend is going to be a blast!!!

    Hey Mr.Wolfe!!!!

    Here is how we made them go really high.

    1: Take 2, 2 liter bottles.
    2: Take some newspaper.
    3:Look at one of the bottles, where the cap is go a little
    bit down and cut all around it.
    4: Look at the other bottle, and then cut the bottom off.
    5: Stuff the newspaper in one of the bottles at the top part.
    6: Take some cardboard and cut three right isscoless triangles.
    7: Take the bottle that has,the newspaper that does not have it, put that into the other bottle.
    8: Glue gun the cardboard triangles to the sides of the bottom part.
    9:Tape the middle part of the rocket,really good.
    10:Take a party hat, tape it to the top of the rocket.
    11:Cut off the top of the party hat.
    12:Take an easter egg,and tape it onto the top of the cut off party hat.
    13:You have your rocket!!!!!!!!!!
    14:Okay,my sci teach had a really big pump, he had it hooked up to the big air thing.He pumped it up and took the pumper out of the big air thing and…… it went really high!!!!!!!!

    Good News!!!

    My family and I might come down to visit in November or December, or the 4th of July!!!!

    I am so upset. If you were here teaching here I would not have that grade.

      We started Temperature and Heat, cool stuff! We used candles the other day and dripped wax on a long metal skewer. We held the rod over the flame and watched the heat transfer from the candle to rod and make the wax melt. Fun stuff. We missed having you here for it! Thanks for keeping in touch! Till next time.

    I understand about the teacher. My sci grade is going up. I have good news. I am going to start playing basketball for my school’s team. Did you know that my great cousin is the best point guard in all of Ohio?!? My dad just told me this info yesterday. Tommorow I have a basketball tournement. I forgot to tell you that every Wendsday that it is early release for my school. Instead of getting out of school at 4 I get out at 3. It does not feel any different. Tell core 4 I said hi.

    Science is going great. My grade for it is going up in a hurry. I am really lucky beacuse I have a 4 day weekend. Right now my science teacher took a vacation with his wife for the 4 day weekend.     How is Nick doing? The one in core 4? I’m really jealous about the new stuff that you are doing. I just know for a fact that you are going to do something cool for the stuff that you are doing in science. Good news!!! My family and I are coming down for the summer. Oh, by the way Alice is not working/downloading for my computer. Tell me if you are going somewhere for the summer. So I could say hi. But, if you and your wife and doing something I will let you two have your time. Science is doing fine. We are now doing air pressure and air mass and water, stuff like that. Well, gotta go!!

      I think Nick is doing very well! We’re doing some cool stuff with Waves right now. We presented our Alice projects to a couple of 1st grade classrooms last week. It was great! We’re sorry you missed it. But keep checking this site for a movie we made while we were presenting our projects. Sorry to hear that you’re having difficulty with Alice. I think they have a place on their website that answers questions. You can check it. My wife and I usually stay around Morehead City during the summer, we may come to Florida for a week, but we’ll have to see. Let me know when you plan to visit, there may be a cool summer camp or class going on that you could stop by! Have a great day!

    Sounds really cool that the class presented those projects. I bet it worth a lot of the science grade. I had my spring break last week. I like your latest videos. Tell the classes that they did really cool on those vidoes. I will keep looking at the new videos that you all have made. I am going to try Alice again and try to e-mail ut to you. Oh, my science teach showed us a cool trick. He took a glass of water and put a index card on top of it. He turned the cup over. It did not spill out. try to figure out why. It took me a while too.

    My spring break was a week earlier than yours. But I still had fun. One of the 8th grades that knew me there wanted to come visit. Anyway what I did for spring break was play a video game called rainbow six vegas 2. I have a ps3. Sometimes I would go to my friends house and play Halo 3 for X-Box. I went swimming, I get to almost every day. Where I live it is really hot. We have 2 six feet pools. We have a racquet ball & tennis court. It is just like heaven. Did you play any video games? I did a lot.

    Mr wolfe I have the best Idea EVER ok so you get a bottle of mo9untain dew then you pour some of the mountain dew into a plastic cup and then in the bottle put a little bit of baking soda and three caps full of peroxide then last put the cap on the mountain dew shake it well then turn off the lights then wala you have a glowing mountain dew well I hope we decide to do thid in class as a expeiriment thanks, Amelia. =:>

      I think I know what happened to him! I apologize if it has been a little while. We are taking our EOG’s (end of grade) tests. We took them last week and have had to retake them this week. Science is going well! Thank you for your comments on student work, they appreciate it. I’ll tell Core 4 to keep up the good work.

      As you said earlier, summer is flying! It has been great here. The summer has been warm, but no bad storms or unbearable weather has made it pleasant.     I am really soory that i have not been in touch for a while. Things have just been crazy. I started school a month ago. I have ROTC now. Things were easy at the beggining of the year. But now….. it’s starting to get hard. I have been really busy.

    I hate to admit it but, science this is cool, with a cool teacher, but disgusting. Because it’s talking about LIFE science if you know what i mean. She claims that we have to hear this type of stuff. But i have been in school for 7 weeks now and i have an 94 in her class.     I remember those tests. Are you still doing the study thing after school? I am doing pretty well. I just took my 3rd exam. It’s fun and all……. but this is crazy! We are still study palnt and animal cells.

      3 exams?!! Wow! We just took our first test. No, we don’t have after school study sessions any more, we do as much review in class as we can. How are you doing on those exams so far?
